This is who we are
Welcome all sisters and bothers of the fiber!
We are so excited to be on the web. We are a group of Native American Washoe living in the eastern Sierras. We are using the fiber arts as a way to reach out to all peoples. Our plans are grandiose in that we believe fiber arts are a great way to self healing ( as in the European Knit to Quit movement), self-awareness( reflection is a natural when engaging in the arts), environmental responsibility(we reclaim a lot of our fibers from clothing). We will be posting pictures as soon as possible, and encourage the public's response to our endeavours. We will be quilting, knitting and crocheting to begin with. Be back soon
